History

From Korea's first 802.1X authentication appliance to the Zero Trust PDP

  1. 2003~2010 Beginnings
    • Netcube founded (Dec 2003)
    • Launched Korea's first 802.1X wireless LAN authentication appliance (2005)
    • Developed and supplied KT 3W (WCDMA, WIBRO, WIFI) unified authentication
    • Developed USIM-based commercial wireless LAN authentication (olleh wifi)
    • Launched an enterprise wireless LAN authentication appliance in Japan
  2. 2011~2017 Growth
    • Selected as the standard wireless LAN authentication solution of a major Korean conglomerate
    • Deployed wireless LAN authentication at the headquarters and R&D center of the world's No. 1 home appliance maker
    • Deployed wireless LAN authentication and onboarding automation at SK Broadband
    • Launched a cloud-based MDM service for education
  3. 2018~2020 Expansion
    • Carried out the 5G national network ISP for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (design, security)
    • Developed public 5G authentication technology (PAS) based on each institution's own security policy, adopted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korean Intellectual Property Office and Sejong City
    • Participated in 3GPP SA TSG, the international 5G standards body
    • Upgraded wireless LAN authentication at the headquarters of a group IT services affiliate
  4. 2022~2023 Deepening
    • Phase 1 for the headquarters and R&D campus of the world's No. 1 home appliance maker: NPass authentication and IP mobility upgraded across the entire wired and wireless network
    • Developed and field-proved 5G core technology with network slicing support
    • Developed and field-tested 5G slicing onboarding automation
    • Licensed 5G government network authentication solutions to the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korean Intellectual Property Office
    • Built blockchain-based global platforms (including SCM for a US Tier-1 carrier)
  5. 2024~2026 Zero trust
    • Deployed unified wired and wireless authentication and IP mobility across Korean Air's 220 sites worldwide (including headquarters)
    • Deployed the NPass zero trust solution at a Korean conglomerate
    • Phase 2 expansion of the R&D campus of the world's No. 1 home appliance maker
    • Developed a device security monitoring system for the KT 5G defense network
    • Supplied authentication solutions to the Board of Audit and Inspection, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Korea AeroSpace Administration, K‑water and others
