ZTNA Remote Access

Outside the office,
the same permissions and the same IP

NPass ZTNA is a remote access solution that connects field staff and partners to business systems without leaving those systems open on the internet. With microsegmentation, authenticated users see only the services they are allowed to use, under the same conditions as when they are on site.

Four key features

  • 01

Microsegmentation: only permitted services are connected

Business systems stay invisible from the internet, and a connection opens only after the user has been verified. Instead of the whole internal network, access is limited to the permitted services within finely divided, service-level segments (microsegmentation).

  • 02

    Verification continues during the session

It does not end with a single login. Throughout the session, the user and device state are monitored continuously, and if anything looks suspicious, additional authentication is required or the connection is dropped.

  • 03

One policy shared with on-site authentication

The same policy used for on-site wired and wireless authentication applies to remote access. The IP used in the office is kept outside it, so on-site and remote access logs are tied to the same user. Partner users are registered and logged under the same scheme.

  • 04

    Operated inside your own environment

Installed in your data center or private cloud. Policies and access logs never leave your environment.

One quick authentication is all it takes to connect

Open the app, confirm your identity with a fingerprint, PIN or other quick authentication, and you are connected. Available on both PC and mobile.

A good fit for organizations that

  • Have business systems used by partners exposed on the internet

Those systems are hidden from the internet, and authenticated partner users are connected to that system only. Tied to account expiry, access ends when the contract ends.

  • Need remote access logs kept per person

The same IP as in the office is kept when connecting from outside.

  • Manage on-site authentication and remote access policies separately

They can be merged into a single policy.

  • Cannot use external cloud-hosted services

Installed and operated inside your own environment.
